Question Answered

Do you sell the lamp only, or just the whole module? Asked by Phil P. On Jun 21, 2021

Thank you for your query. We only sell the complete lamp with module for the Mitsubishi VLT-EX240LP (MPLL09466) since the price difference between it and the bare bulb/ lamp is not cost-effective.

Question Answered

I installed a new lamp and I was able to reset the lamp hours to zero, but it is still turning off and the red bulb light comes on. Asked by Kathleen H. On Aug 05, 2023

Depending on what the indicator light on your Mitsubishi projector's status is or if it's flashing or not, will determine what's wrong. If the red indicator light is on continually , then you may need to replace the lamp. You may have purchased a faulty lamp and need to return it. At MyProjectorLamps, you can exchange your lamp for any reason within 180 days of receiving it , but if you require a refund, then you have to return the lamp in 30 days. If the red indicator light is flashing very rapidly, then the lamp cover is not properly attached, fix it immediately. If the red indicator light is flashing rapidly, then the projector or lamp has overheated and needs to cool down. Put the projector in a cool room and let it cool off for a few minutes. If the red indicator light is flashing slowly, then the projector was turned on immediately after being turned off. Turn off the unit, wait at least one minute, then turn on the projector again. If none of these ideas work, then you may have reset the hours incorrectly. Turn the projector on, press the and Power button for about 3 seconds on the control panel, and the lamp hours should be reset.

Question Answered

Mitsubishi VLT-EX240LP it is about 10 years old, never replaced the lamp module. Hours used says 94 no diminished light . I believe these lamps have a 2000 hour life. Does the lamp module have a number of years of age in addition to the hours used. Asked by Michael C. On Oct 12, 2023

This lamp, Internal SKU #: MPLL09466 has 3000 hours. You should replace the lamp once it dies, but if it says 94, that's still a long time. Just replace the lamp, since you used it for 10 years. The number of years for the module varies on the environment used and how long you use it. It should last a long time.

Question Answered

I have the EW230U-ST Projector and it's working fine. The only issue I am facing is that there are so many white dots coming on the projected display. Is this issue with the lamp or can I resolve it without changing the lamp? Asked by Harshadas K. On Jan 27, 2021

When you see white or blue dots or any color dots in your image, that means you have dead pixels. There a few different reasons this could be occurring. In most cases, it's because you need to change the DMD chip or the LCD panel.
