Question Answered

I bought this replacement lamp, but the screen keeps turning on for a few seconds and then turns back off. Is there a defect with the lamp? How can I check? Asked by Mohammed A. On Apr 30, 2022

It may be your projector, depending on which projector you have, but it could be the lamp. One way you could check is by the lamp indicator lights on the side of the projector. If the temperature light flashes orange, then the high-speed cooling process is in progress. If the projector temperature rises any higher, then the projection will stop. If the temperature lamp is solid red, then the projector is too hot and the lamp will turn off automatically. If the temperature light is flashing red, then there's a fan or sensor problem. If the lamp light is flashing orange, then the lamp needs to be replaced. If the lamp light is red, then there's a problem with the lamp. If you just replaced the lamp, make sure the lamp and its cover are securely installed. Turn off the projector and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Wait for the lamp to cool and then remove the lamp and check it for cracks. If the lamp isn’t cracked, reinstall it, plug the projector into an outlet, and turn the power on. If this doesn’t fix the problem, or if the lamp is cracked, contact our costumer support: 1-888-785-2677. If both the temperature and lamp lights are flashing red, then there is an internal problem. Turn off the projector and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

You can only put the lamp the manufacturer designated for this projector. The bulb must match the exact specs as intended. Same wattage and voltage. Question Answered

I just bought a bulb and installed it. Now there is a red and green stripe in the middle of the screen, but it’s faint. Does that mean the bulb is faulty? Asked by George A. On Apr 13, 2020

No, it may be a video output problem. Try pressing the "Tracking" button on your projector's remote control or the control panel and this should remove the lines. But if the lines are still there, look for the Signal setting on the projector's menu and turn on Auto. This will adjust how the projector interprets video signals. If that doesn't work, try unplugging the wires connected to the projector, including the HDMI and VGA cords, and plug the wires back in. If the lines persist, try changing the Signal setting in the control panel on the projector, then manually pick the video input. If all else fails, try replacing the bulb or contacting our customer support at 1-888-785-2677.
